After raising her own three children and working for over 20 years as an engineering researcher, Hatsue Daman decided to follow her heart and start her own child care business. One of the ways Hatsue plants good seeds is by taking the children in her care on daily nature walks so they can appreciate and learn about their natural surroundings. Her love of nature started in her native Japan. Hatsue provides the children in her care with a wonderful mixture of her Japanese and American cultures. Not only does she speak Japanese to the children, she teaches them Spanish and sign language. Her willingness to embrace all cultures has meant a lot to parents of the children in her care.
