The First 5 LA Connect is a free, confidential phone and web site service for parents and child care providers of young children in Los Angeles County. It provides information and referrals, as well as parent support and assistance, to expectant parents and parents/child care providers of children up to age five in LA County.
The Pacific Oaks Children’s School in Pasadena provides programs for children ages six months through six years of age. Pacific Oaks is internationally known for its work in the areas of anti-bias education, emergent curriculum and conflict resolution.
The goal of Working for Quality Child Care (W4QCC), a project of United Way of the Bay Area, is to promote a well-trained and adequately compensated child care workforce in California, and thereby improve the quality of early care and education for young children.
